How to Prepare Salmon
When the salmon is thoroughly cooked, how will you know? Technically, the salmon is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. However, because we’re working with small pieces of fish, we’ve found an easier technique to identify when the salmon is done.
Allow the salmon to cook until it’s white halfway up, then turn and cook for another minute or two – you’ll get it perfect every time! You may need to cook the salmon a little on each side, depending on the size of the pieces you cut. When the salmon is thoroughly cooked, it should be flaky, and the prosciutto should be lovely and crispy on the outside.
